About Me
Ryan Almendra Sabarre boasts over 20 years of professional computing experience in Software Engineering. He is renowned as an output-driven software developer specializing in Software Application Development Engineering.
Furthermore, he excels as a proactive, efficient, and organized leader, adept at orchestrating the collaboration of cross-functional teams. With expertise spanning Android Development, Manufacturing Automation, Webpage Development, Software Application Development, Project Management, Research & Development, and Testing Engineering, Ryan consistently delivers exceptional results.
Drawing from his rich background in multinational corporations, Ryan stands out as a leader in his field.
Ryan graduated with a degree in computer science from the University of San Carlos, Cebu, Philippines. He commenced his career as a multimedia and web developer at JAMP, a Japanese company, for two years. Demonstrating remarkable success, he then ventured abroad, serving as a Computer Hardware Engineer at ACER Taiwan for two years. After honing his skills in computer hardware and mastering the intricacies of computer systems, he transitioned to NCR, an American company, as a Senior Software Engineer, where he further expanded his expertise in software engineering.
He traveled to Georgia, USA, for training and immersion in NCR products. Within two years, he advanced to lead a software engineering team, honing his leadership and people management skills. Through dedication, determination, and a proven track record of success, he ascended to the role of Software Engineering Manager at NCR Cebu, overseeing six departments and managing a team of over 130 software engineers.
As one of the pioneering members of NCR Cebu, Ryan played a pivotal role in relocating NCR's SCOT/Fastlane projects to Cebu, ultimately leading to the establishment of an NCR branch in the Philippines. He dedicated six years to NCR before pursuing opportunities abroad. In 2008, he joined FINISAR Corporation, an American company based in Malaysia, and was sent to Silicon Valley, California, USA, for training in Manufacturing Automation software development.
During his tenure at FINISAR, Ryan amassed extensive experience in Software-Hardware interfacing, Robotics - Motion Control, Vision Acquisition, and instrumentation data acquisition. After two-plus years with FINISAR, he relocated to Australia.
Ryan embarked on entrepreneurship by founding YourELink, a company offering products available on Google Play. Today, he boasts a portfolio of over 30 Android apps available on the Play Store.
